If you're flying soon, make sure you're well prepared before you head to the airport.
10 May 2022: Auckland Domestic Airport screening point is currently undergoing an infrastructure and technology upgrade which includes the installation of Advanced Imaging Technology (body scanner) machines. While this work is taking place there will be a reduction in the number of screening lanes Aviation Security can open to process passengers. At times the queues might be longer than normal. If you are travelling there are some things you can do to reduce your time in a queue including arriving at the airport with plenty of time to go through security screening, being aware of what you can and can’t take in your carry-on bags, and following the instructions of our officers. We appreciate your patience as we make these improvements to the screening point.
