The New Zealand Government has introduced a new travel requirement for some visitors and transit passengers. It’s called the NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority) and travellers need to request theirs via the official mobile app or website. Approval can take up to 72 hours, so get yours before you go.
The NZeTA is required for travel from 1 October 2019.

With the continued closure of the NZ border due to COVID-19 the ICAO ASTP courses scheduled at the Auckland ASTC are temporarily deferred until further notice.
The Auckland Aviation Security Training Centre (ASTC) had scheduled the AVSEC Crisis Management Course over the dates of 20 - 24 July 2020. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic this course is now cancelled.
We aim to reschedule this course next year in 2021.
Apologies for this disruption to our 2020 schedule - these are unprecedented times.
The Auckland Aviation Security Training Centre (ASTC) had scheduled the regional Risk Management Workshop (RMW) in Auckland over the dates of 1 - 4 September 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 situation and the NZ borders remaining closed for some time yet, the decision has been made to cancel this course.
We aim to reschedule this RMW course in 2021.
The Auckland ICAO ASTC is located at 60 Aintree Avenue, Auckland International Business Park, Airport Oaks. It is 2.5km away from the Auckland International Airport and is close to airport hotels.
