The New Zealand Government has introduced a new travel requirement for some visitors and transit passengers. It’s called the NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority) and travellers need to request theirs via the official mobile app or website. Approval can take up to 72 hours, so get yours before you go.
The NZeTA is required for travel from 1 October 2019.
Visit immigration.govt.nz/nzeta(external link) to find out if you need one.
Due to the enhanced international travel restrictions imposed by the New Zealand Government to help counteract the spread of the COVID19 virus in New Zealand, the decision has been made to cancel the Avsec Instructors Course scheduled 5 – 13 May 2020.
The new travel restrictions on international visitors coming into New Zealand would mean an automatic 14 day isolation which would be impractical for the course attendance.
At this stage we do not know how long the international travel restrictions in response to COVID19 virus will be in force for. We will look at rescheduling the Avsec Instructors course once these new travel restrictions for COVID19 virus have been lifted by the New Zealand Government.
