We’ve finalised the schedule for the 2025 Safety Manager Network Days, with the first one kicking off on 14 October in Hokitika.
These events are designed to connect Safety Managers across country in an informal setting. They’re aimed at providing mutual support in what can often be an isolated role and allow you to share experiences and insights about Safety Management Systems (SMS).
Our team will chat about the new SMS Maturity Assessment Tool guidance which explains what an 'Operating' and 'Effective' SMS might look like in your organisation. We encourage you to bring your own thoughts on the tool if you've had a chance to use it.
Looking ahead, the Network Days will continue in 2026, with additional South Island venues and a rollout into the North Island. We’ll notify you again once the 2026 schedule is confirmed.
Please feel free to share this with other Safety Managers in your networks.
