Civil aviation rule 71.9 requires the Director to consult with affected persons, organisations and representative groups within the aviation industry before making a designation or classification of airspace.
The Director invites feedback regarding the proposed temporary designation of special use airspace for the applications below.
An application has been submitted by the organisers for the establishment of temporary restricted airspace to support the 36th America’s Cup event, to be held in Auckland between 17 December 2020 and 21 March 2021.
