Purpose

This AC describes an acceptable means of compliance with recommended study material in respect of written examinations for Subject 20 (Air Law – Written).

This AC relates specifically to Civil Aviation Rule Part 66 Subpart B - Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence.

Change notice

Revision 7 updates references to the Civil Aviation Act 2023 (CA Act 2023) and related rules. It also updates the note on page 7 relating to applying online, updates information about applicable forms and fixes formatting issues.

Lastly, it correct incorrect references in sections 6 and 7.9, after a participant pointed out these errors.
