Technical Advisory Groups

Technical Advisory Groups (TAGs) provide CAA with independent technical expertise, operational knowledge, and practical industry experience. They support CAA in the development of regulatory policy, aviation rules, and related guidance under the Civil Aviation Act 2023.

People can express their interest in joining a TAG via this expression of interest form(external link). Please feel free to circulate this link to your networks. This link will remain open for the duration of the programme and you can express your interest at any time.

Key steps for TAG members:

• We will contact potential members for more information in the weeks leading up to a project starting.
• We will confirm membership of each TAG in the early stages of a project.
• We will notify members about key dates and details as soon as their membership is confirmed.
• You don’t have to be in multiple TAGs.
• You can opt out of a TAG (and/or consideration for future TAGs) at any time.
