The following definitions are inserted at the appropriate place in the alphabetical sequence in rule 1.1:

Foreign in-flight security officer has the meaning given to it by section 5 of the Act:

In-flight security officer has the meaning given to it by section 5 of the Act

 

This note is not part of the Rule but is intended to indicate its general effect.

  • This rule amends the Civil Aviation Rule Part 1, Definitions and Abbreviations (the principal rule). 
  • This rule inserts definitions of in-flight security officer and foreign in-flight security
    officer, applicable to Civil Aviation Rule Parts 19, 91, 108, and 140.
