To help us improve our website, we created an online survey to ask what people thought about our former site.
This information has informed the development of this website.

Respondents to this question told us about more than 300 things they currently found hard to find, with responses literally ranging from "nothing" to "everything".
Two issues emerged above others. Around 10% of responses said contact details were hard to find, while another 8% thought our current search feature delivered poor results.
To address this, our new website will make it easier to get in touch with the right people. We've already started this work by adding to our contact us page, and we're looking at the best ways to include contact details throughout the site. We've also been working hard on a new site search, with the addition of auto suggestions, better filters, and searches specifically for key areas.
This question received just under 300 answers, again ranging from "nothing" to "everything". The most popular items that worked well for people were the aircraft register and access to the rules, ACs and ADs.
There were no particularly strong themes here, but all 287 suggestions are being considered. Some requests we are already working on include improving the mobile experience, making it easier for people to contact the right parts of the business, reducing scrolling, overall simplification, and improved search and navigation.
We had 100 extra comments submitted at the end of the survey, covering a broad range of topics. While the comments were again varied, a number of people did refer to difficulty they had using the current 'three dropdown' menu on the front page. We can confirm that's not a feature that will exist on the new site.
* Figures do not add up to 100% due to rounding, and individuals giving multiple answers.
