We proactively release Board meeting summaries every month to promote transparency and openness.
The summaries will provide insight into the key matters considered by the Board, helping aviation participants, stakeholders and the public understand the strategic, operational and governance issues shaping CAA's work and the issues influencing New Zealand's civil aviation system. They will not include commercially sensitive, security-sensitive or confidential information, but will outline the main topics discussed and decisions made.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Board met on 27 August 2026 to consider organisational performance, strategic priorities, financial sustainability, aviation security, regulatory programmes, and governance matters.
