To maintain you aviation examiner (optometrist) designation you must:
- maintain your registration with the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Board; and
- participate in CAA webinars or other relevant education events no less than five times in any 5 year designation period; and
- have no safety concerns following CAA random audits of Special Eye Reports; and
- complete the application form within 6 months but no less than 1 month prior to of the expiry date of the current designation:
